so seth has been drinking quite a bit lately, and it is kind of worrisome. he is drinking every night, it seems. when we were together he barely drank at all. well, i mean he'd have a beer or two but he wouldn't get buzzed or inebriated every night like he is now.
i am just hoping it is not prompted by me. we hang out and he seems fine, but who knows? it just seems to coincide with our break-up. he says he is celebrating the end of the semester, but he started before the semester ended.

i do not know if i will be in florida. jesse also has tcf bank and they like to dick around with him in the same way they dick around with me, so he might not be able to buy tickets online.
i decided i will change banks because i had 150 bucks in my account that they wouldn't let me use for three or four days for absolute no reason.
anyway, yea, i'm hoping it works out because i think it would be a really neat [short] experience.

chris is going to be processing my paperwork by friday, if all goes well, and then i can start training.
i groomed hunnee there the other day and they looked at her and said "you'll do fiiiiine."

yea yea nothing much to talk about. my flowers died when there was a freeze, but all sorts of stuff is sprouting up from under the mulch. so it works.

daylight

i am so amazed at how long it stays light outside here.
first of all the sun rises at like 5am. no joke. it let the dogs out at 5:20 and it was light out.
and the sun is out until 9pm, at least. jonah said on june 21st it stays light out until 9:45.
then again during the winter it is pitch black by 5pm, so it evens out.

i have become good friends with marya at work. we go out sometimes, and we are very, very similar people.
it is kind of funny because she is 38, and i am closer in age to her sons [12, 16] than i am to her. but i guess that doesn't matter in adulthood, eh?

as it turns out i won't be seeing jesse in seattle. he's there the 23rd. i thought for some reasons he was going to be there the 29th.

today is "national bike to work day". actually the entire week has been "bike to work week" but today is the official day. so i'm biking to work.

last night seth and i saw flight of the conchords at the orpheum theatre. if you aren't familiar with flight of the conchords, they have a show on hbo and are essentially a novelty folk comedy duo from new zealand:

seth had bought the tickets when we were dating and still took me haha. it sold out in five minutes so our seats were in the third balcony but i could still see pretty well.

if i get to go to seattle the 26-30 of june, i'll be able to see jesse while he's on tour. they're in seattle on the 29th. i just found that out!

mouse is a little hussie.
now we all know that she a people-whore. and when any dog at the shop approaches her, she does the "yipyipyip" thing to it.
but there was a dog named goofy the other day, a cocker spaniel a few days later, and a german shephard over the weekend that she acted differently toward.
she was spinning for them, showing them her butt, and just outright flirting. we couldn't figure out WHY she chose these dogs to be nice to. they were all rather obnoxious.
then i figured it out. they were all un-neutered males. mouse is spayed but i guess she can still sense the pheramones.
so after showing the cocker spaniel her ass a few times, finally he was like "OKAY!" and grabbed onto her and started humping her.
so yea. mouse is a sluttttt.

i want to save up money and buy a vespa.
or something similar.

so then i can ride that into the city when it's nice out. it's better for the environment than my car. it uses less gas, which is a big deal considering how much gas costs.
obviously i'll not ride on the highway with it, but i know all the back ways to get to and around the city.

then, when it's nice out, i won't have to use my car.

so i will save some money from my tax return to begin with, and go from there.
they cost around 5000-6000 dollars so it shouldn't take *too* long.
if anything, i will have it for NEXT spring/summer.
